Notes on Implementation
The ADXL362 must always be started from 0V: starting from another range when the voltage falls below minimum operating levels will result in various issues.
Power it up from MCU’s pin and use a switch with discharge feature or drive the pin low for a short time when rebooting to avoid the brownout and being locked (i.e. registers won't refresh). When the system is rebooting software, resting does not work.
Use 2.2V or above MCU’s regulator. If you use 2 v or less regulator and try to power the ADXL362 from MCU’ pin, your system would start and die very fast. ADXL362 has 0.1uf bypass capacitor and charging it causes the main VCC to dip below the MCU operating voltage. See the below screenshot of VCC using 2 V regulator :
